Marine Coordination

Before the production starts, the Marine Coordinator works with all departments to help plan the production. On set, the Marine Coordinator works side by side with 1st AD to achieve the shots required. The Marine Coordinator works a little like the stunt coordinator, and that often the 1st AD will ‘hand over’ the set while filming is conducted in the marine environment.

We find we can add the most value to production if Marine Team are engaged early on, just to offer advice and work with locations, costume (especially if the scene involves diving), SFX, construction.
